Sailing at Confluence lake.

Post

It was a beautiful day to sail, yesterday. The winds were strong at 15 gusting 20 mph, so we went sailing at the Confluence lake in Delta. It was so relaxing when the winds died down, later on. Cliff H. and Iggy were there reminiscing about the old days. He and Iggy were doing OK, still living in their RV in town. We had a Dragonflite RG95, Hobby King Phantom, Star class boat and two Soling 1 meter boats on the water. Also, lots of spectators. It was fun and relaxing. Sort of like sailplaning on the water.

Sure thing, you bet. The fellows I've been sailing with are from Grand Junction. They have come to our Confluence lake in Delta because it has more wind than their pond. We will probably sail again, here at Confluence, next. I'll let you know when, Mike.
