It appears that sunday might have some wind and decent temps... anyone that flies slope interested in flat top?  Think a few locals will be up there, fwiw.

I'll see if any of my receiver batteries are still doing OK. Forecast winds sound good.

Boy, what a blast! Arbo and Chris put on one heck  of a neat show Sunday, up at Flat Top. It was spectacular, seeing them going "slow" at over 100 mph, Dynamic soaring on the backside of flat top. This could be addicting. Check out their videos on Youtube.

Take a look at the latest Radio Control Soaring Digest. Lots of cool stuff related to DS activities. New transonic wings designed to approach the speed of sound, and a new 60" speed record of 369 mph. That is with a plank planform.

Yes I have seen the Transonic on rcgroups, and recall Bruce getting that 60" speed.

I actually have a Windburner, which is a 48" plank, that held the plank record for a long time.  It is #2 on the list after that 369…. for the windburner has only gone 341.  lol.
