Last Weekend's Aviation Tribute
Folks, our static display last weekend at the Montrose Airport was superb. Thanks to all of the folks who came to commune with the public and promote our hobby. We had a pretty complete spectrum of the hobby from foam gliders and coke can airplanes, U-control, sailplanes, scale, sport, trainers, Anthony's helicopters, and Neil's big Aeroworks planes. We have not had that much public exposure in a very long time. An extra thank you to John Carbonneau for putting this together. Hopefully, we'll get some good photos posted in the gallery soon. I was having some difficulty with that yesterday. I don't know if we can post photos on our Regional yahoo groups site, but even if we can't do that, it'd be a good idea to let people know what we're doing over here in the western slope hinterlands. I did put a post on there when we did the Men in the Mix program.
