Last Weekend's Western Colorado Slope Challenge

Post

Although MMAA no longer sponsors the Western Colorado Slope Challenge, we had three of our members show up for the gathering at the usual site 13 miles east of Delta, just south of the highway.  I'd guess there were between 10 and 15 attendees, since some of the locals didn't stay for the full 3 days.

Winds were cooperative, but not steady or smooth, and it did not rain. Still there was some combat action, including some DS combat. A variety of other slope aircraft were flown with a minimum of carnage. Three prizes were given away, an Alula Trek sloper, a Bee kit, and a pair of hand held radios. I think that Arbo took some photos and maybe he'll post a few on here.

Thanks Paul.  Judging from my forward lean in one of the photos, it must have been in one of those infrequent times when the wind was really blowing.
