Men In The Mix

Who is going to the Men in the Mix Saturday the 20 starting at 10 am. We can access Friendship Hall Friday evening to set up, or at 8 am on Saturday morning. As in the past we'll have a space about 10' by 20' for our model display and to build gliders. There are a ton of kids that come to this, and glider building can get very busy at times, so please make the time to come and represent our Association and hobby. Lunch is served to the folks who participate. Thanks Carl

This is an excellent opportunity to share our hobby with the new and unexposed. Please make the effort to attend this event as it is the most important one to share our hobby with the younger ones who will discover the joy of model aviation. I'll be there with the Tiger 60.

I will be there. If two hours on Saturday morning is not enough time I can come and help out on Friday.

I gave Mike the patterns, some plates with patterns already traced on them, functional pens, a couple of permanent markers for kids names, an AMA cub for display, 3 pairs of scissors, a few egg cartons and patterns for a couple of egg carton flyers (for special people) and some scotch tape. I am also printing a few brochures (maybe 20) with our phone number and will get those to Mike later today or this evening. You guys may have to fold them. A suggestion: If you take any display models consider a short description of what it is, how old it is, RC-FF-UC, etc. That way people will have an idea of what they're looking at.
