OK, fellows, how's this for a new indoor flying biplane? It looks like I'll have a couple of months to work on something, so what the heck. It should be about 26 inch wingspan. It's a 200% enlargement of the original peanut scale rubber powered model. It would be powered by the same type of gear in the Jabberwock indoor plane from last year. It would have the same color scheme as the "Out of Africa" movie Gipsy Moth.[br][br]

Yes, I will. I really liked the story behind the movie.

Gypsy Moth…wasn't that built before they figured out that the student or passenger in the front seat could not bail out because of the wing over their head? That's why the Tiger Moth wing is swept isn't it?

That's what the military wanted for their student pilots. The room to bail out and have ample clearance for the parachute/seat cushion without snagging anything. Of course DeHavilland wanted the military contract, so they modified the airplane to suit the purchasers needs and the rest is history. The Tiger Moth was born.

I just found this Transmitter mitt on RCGroups.com. It looks very nice and warm for winter flying. Here is the link. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2316020

No, it was a comment on how great the flying was last Saturday but I thought no one would want to hear it. This new avatar is my uncle's squadron patch.
