Hello Folks, this might be an option for making markers/buoys for the race course. By the way, the website; www.grandvalleymyc.org is back up due to popular demand. Randy[br]

I thought this was a lawn chair/recliner activity; you know, relaxing. Who is that out in the inflatable boat?

That was Cliff's son. He did a remarkable job setting those temporary buoys for our first race. Thanks, Cliff. James was the winner and took first place. Congratulations, James! The Grand Valley Model Yacht Club is back on track and we will be having our open house on Sunday, May 15th at the shelter at the end of the dock at Confluence Lake. You can check out the details at www.grandvalleymyc.org. Randy

We had a good time at the first annual open house of the Grand Valley Model Yacht Club at Confluence Lake in Delta. There was a two masted schooner from Dolores, Colorado and there was a US One meter boat from Lake City, Colorado. There was also a few of us local guys from the Montrose, Delta, Cedaredge, Hotchkiss area. We all raced and had a good time and a special thanks goes to Terry Ryan for volunteering his boat to set the buoys. Good food, good fun and some good sun was had by all. We even had the privilege of having Paul Arbogast and Don Dubie there to check things out! Stevie got to sail my boat and had some fun, I think. Randy

Yeah buddy, the kraut could sail it too. A few pics including Bill's US 1 meter, that cleaned our clocks all day lol. [br][br][br][br]
