Aftershock, composite glider...

Post

Paul I have an incidence meter you can use.  It is not digital laser platinum, just an analog style guage.

Thanks for the offer, used a clamp and iphone app.

Just need to get to sanding it now.  Think I will go by a car repair place and see how much it would cost to have them spray it with some 2k auto paint when I get to that point.  If too expensive, I have found you can get 2k in a spray can for 25 bucks a can.

wet sanded fuse plug, waxed it, cut a parting board, got it in there with clay...    pva the whole thing.

Mixed up some 'gel coat', and put that on, let it sit and gel up for a good while.   Then started adding glass.

Am headed to denver tomorrow and sunday, coming home monday via salida to hopefully get some DS in with Chris.   So will pull the parting board off when I get back.

After that, clean up the other side, coat with pva, then lay on the gel and glass for the other side.

Wow, that is neat work. Perhaps, you could mold some fuses for other gliders, maybe? ;)

That is possible, all that is needed is a plug to make a mold from.
